Pengaruh Disposisi Matematis terhadap Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah dengan Pembelajaran Berbantuan Video

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh disposisi matematika terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah melalui pembelajaran berbantuan video pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas VII di salah satu SMPN di Kota Gunungsitoli. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi-eksperimental, dengan sampel penelitian kelas VII-A menjadi kelas eksperimen (n = 32) yang menerima pembelajaran berbantuan video dan kelas VII-B sebagai kelas kontrol (n = 32) dengan metode konvensional. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kuesioner disposisi matematis, yang diberikan sebagai pretest dan posttest. Analisis menggunakan uji-t serta analisis regresi linear. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol, dengan gain score masing-masing 0,50 dan 0,25. Untuk Kemampuan pemecahan masalah, kelas eksperimen meningkat dari rata-rata pretest 67,34 menjadi rata-rata postest 83,78, sedangkan kelas kontrol dari rata-rata pretest 66,22 menjadi rata-rata postest 73,84. Hasil analysis disposisi matematis kelas ekperimen 79,31 dan kelas kontrol 72,06. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran berbantuan video menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan pemecahan masalah dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Selain itu, disposisi matematis siswa juga berkorelasi positif dengan peningkatan ini. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran berbantuan video berpotensi dalam memfasilitasi perkembangan pemecahan masalah matematis, sambil mengakui peran disposisi matematis dalam proses pembelajaran.
