Ideguru: Jurnal Karya Ilmiah Guru

2016: First published on May 26, 2016 by Dinas Pendidikan Menengah dan Non Formal Kabupaten Bantul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, Indonesia) with p-ISSN 2527-5712 .

2017: Following up on government policies in the field of education, since 2017 the management of IDEGURU has been transferred to the Dinas Pendidikan, Pemuda dan Olahraga, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

2020: Then on May 2, 2020, IDEGURU was first published as open access on the Open Journal System (OJS) by Bidang Guru dan Tenaga Kependidikan, Dinas Pendidikan, Pemuda dan Olahraga DIY dengan e-ISSN 2722-2195.

2021: IDEGURU is a comprehensive journal of teacher thought, encompassing classroom action research, best practices, and scientific reviews. From 2016 to 2020, the journal was published twice a year in May and November. Starting in 2021, the publication frequency increased to three times a year, in January, May, and September. Furthermore, on December 9, 2021, the journal was designated a Rank 4/SINTA 4 accredited journal by the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek RI) with the following license: 158/E/KPT/2021. IDEGURU's vision is to become a primary reference for teachers in innovating learning and research. IDEGURU's mission is to serve as a medium for the actualization and dissemination of scientific work for teachers nationally. This year, the template was also changed by adding a header to the article heading.

2023: On May 11, 2023, IDEGURU's accreditation was upgraded to SINTA 3 as determined by the Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of Indonesia Number: 79/E/KPT/2023. This year there was also a change in the editor-in-chief, which was originally held by Andhy S. Hapsara, who had served since 2016, replaced by Fika Ristanti through the decree of the head of Dinas Dikpora DIY Number 0711 of 2023 dated March 28, 2023.
