Peningkatan Keterampilan Membuat Karya Inovasi Media Pembelajaran melalui Metode Modifikasi Permainan Anak

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low teacher skills in making an innovative learning media, so it has an impact on the inhibition of the teacher promotion due to the lack of innovation. The purpose of the study was to improve the teachers’ skills in making the innovative learning media using the children game method. This research subject is 25 young teachers consisting of the third group and honorary.It was conducted  in two cycles with three meetings each, and the teachers had to make  an innovative learning media every cycle. In the first cycle, they modified the simple ones from the cards and puzzle, then in the second cycle modifying more complex ones, namely snake and ladder, monopoly, engklek and mystery  box. The result of the research process  showed that in the first cycle, the teachers’ scores between 81 - 94 and in the second cycle, it is obtained score between 86 – 99, both are good categories, and the result of the performance work score of the first cycle was between 81,25 - 90,60 (Good), the second cycle score was 87,50 - 96,88 (Very good) and showed an  increase between the first cycle and the second cycle, the number of teachers who made the innovative learning media before  the study was two  teachers (3,33%) of 60 teachers, then, after the study increased by 25 teachers (41,67%), it means that the method of modifying  the children's game can improve the teachers’ skills in making the innovative learning media. The teachers skills are communication, collaboration, critical thinking creativity, independence and productivity to create the innovative learning media.
