Pengembangan Multimedia Interaktif Construct 2 Berbasis Literasi Bermuatan Materi Keragaman Budaya pada Siswa SD
Abstract
Learning with conventional learning media is less relevant to the characteristics of Generation Alpha students who have a high interest in technology, resulting in low interest and ability among students in understanding cultural diversity material. This study aims to develop and test the feasibility of interactive multimedia products based on literacy containing cultural diversity material that is effective in increasing the interest and cognitive learning outcomes of primary school students. The research was conducted using the ADDIE development procedure on 87 fifth-grade students at Kapanewon Girisubo, Gunungkidul, DIY. The data collection techniques used were observation, questionnaires, and tests. The feasibility of the product was obtained through assessments by subject matter experts, media experts, classroom teachers, and students. The practicality of the product was concluded through an analysis of the responses of students and teachers in the questionnaire. The results of the analysis concluded that the literacy-based interactive multimedia on cultural diversity met the criteria of being ‘highly feasible’ and ‘highly practical’. Analysis of N-Gain score test data, Independent T-test, Paired T-test, and MANOVA test resulted in the statement that the product is effective in significantly increasing the interest and cognitive learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students based on the MANOVA test results, which obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05.
