Peran Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar pada Siswa Kelas X KKO di SMA Negeri 1 Sewon
Abstract
This study aims to determine the role and strategies of Guiding and Counseling teachers in increasing learning motivation in Class X KKO students at SMA Negeri 1 Sewon. The data shows that over the past year KKO students have achieved 1 international championship, 4 national levels, and 2 regional levels, this shows high motivation in competing in a championship and learning in a school environment. This study describes the role of Guiding and Counseling teachers in increasing learning motivation in Class X KKO students. The research subjects in this study were 1 Guiding and Counseling teacher, 1 homeroom teacher, and 4 KKO students. Research data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation study. The research data were analyzed using three steps, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results of the research are 1) implementing services according to four basic services, namely: basic services, responsive services, individual planning services, and system support; 2) implementing guidance services with topics that support learning motivation through interesting techniques; 3) provide group and individual counseling services to help solve problems; 4) carry out further study information services under the field; 5) carry out collaboration with subject teachers and homeroom teachers, and 6) being a teacher who is firm but still makes students comfortable.
