Hubungan Minat Profesi Guru dengan Kesiapan Mahasiswa Calon Guru Biologi di Provinsi Lampung
Abstract
Education requires a professional teacher to form a qualified and qualified generation. Currently, many students majoring in education are less interested in becoming teachers, which affects their readiness. This research aims to determine the relationship between teachers' professional interest and student readiness as prospective Biology teachers in Lampung province. This type of research is a quantitative correlation. The sampel is Biology students in semester VII in Lampung province. The sampling technique is purposive sampling, namely a technique with certain conditions. The data collection technique is a questionnaire distributed in the form of a Google form which has previously been validated by experts tested by Aiken's V and tested for reliability to measure the feasibility and consistency of the instrument. After the data is collected, it is analyzed using normality tests, correlation tests and hypothesis tests. The results of the normality test stated that the data was not normally distributed, so a non-parametric test was carried out, namely the Spearman correlation test which produced data that there was a correlation or relationship between the two variables, namely teacher professional interest (X) and student readiness (Y). These two variables have a very high/very strong relationship and also have a positive value (positive correlation).
