Abstract

Media has both positive and negative impacts on people's lives. Many young Indonesians still lack akhlak character as a result of a poorly organized education system, especially in the millennial era. Movies have a huge impact on people's lives because of the messages and information they convey. The purpose of this study is to examine the Indonesian film adaptation of Miracle in Cell No. 7 to find out what akhlak education lessons can be incorporated into it. The sample of this research comes from various sources, including books, movies, articles, magazines, historical narratives, and previous research; this type of data collection is referred to as qualitative desk research. The author developed conclusions about the movie's depiction of akhlak education principles after studying and discussing the movie Miracle in Cell No. 7. As a result, the akhlak teachings conveyed in this movie include praying, being humble and grateful, helping each other, being loyal to friends, being honest, being fair, showing compassion, and practicing religion. The movie Miracle in Cell No. 7, which consists of ten segments, provides akhlak lessons through its messages. The movie Miracle in Cell No. 7 contains indications that show the akhlak lessons it wants to convey to the audience. Students and their parents should strive to follow the akhlak teachings presented.
