Meningkatkan Keterampilan Komunikasi Siswa melalui Penerapan Experiential Learning

Abstrak

Keterampilan komunikasi siswa menjadi kunci penting untuk menghadapi tantangan dan mencapai kesuksesan di dunia modern yang dinamis dalam era informasi yang semakin kompleks dan terhubung secara global. Perkembangan teknologi dan media sosial telah mengubah cara berkomunikasi, mempercepat pertukaran informasi, dan meningkatkan pentingnya keterampilan komunikasi yang efektif. Maka, meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa menjadi prioritas utama dalam pendidikan untuk mempersiapkan mereka menghadapi dunia yang terhubung dan dinamis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi efektivitas dari implementasi pembelajaran experiential learning dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa. Pendekatan kualiatatif dengan desain studi kasus digunakan untuk menggali efektifitas implementasi pembelajaran experiential learning.   Penelitian dilakukan di sebuah sekolah dasar di kota Yogyakarta dengan teknik pengambilan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran experiential learning sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa. Dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan guru dapat menggunakan metode pembelajaran experiential learning dapat menjadi alternatif baru dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa di sekolah dasar.
