Analisis Damar Kurung melalui Penjelajahan Museum Virtual Masmundari pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SD
Abstract
This research aims to analyze Damar Kurung as one of the Local Cultures of Gresik Regency through the Masmundari Virtual Museum Exploration in the Indonesian Language Map at Elementary School. Primary school students need to be introduced to local culture to shape children's character, with their identity and ancestral identity. The focus of the problem that will be investigated by researchers is related to the number of elementary school students who are not even familiar with the local culture in their place. This is certainly very unfortunate, considering that Gresik Local Culture, especially Damar Kurung, is a regional traditional art that must be preserved. This research uses a Quantitative descriptive methodology, where data collection is carried out using survey research methods by compiling questionnaires and conducting interviews so that it can be found that the analysis of Damar Kurung through exploring the Masmundari Virtual Museum can inspire the introduction of culture in aspects (writing, reading and understanding, speaking and presenting) in Indonesian Language subjects in class IV Elementary School.
