Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Matematika melalui Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD Berbantuan Media Manik-Manik
Abstract
The main problems in this study include teachers not being optimal in teaching, minimal creativity and innovation in compiling teaching materials and using learning media, so that learning feels boring for students. This study aims to determine the application of bead media and its impact on the understanding of grade II students of SDK Waiara in calculating multiplication. Quantitatively, data is collected from the results of learning tests, observations in class, rubrics of evaluation of results and evaluation of processes. On the contrary, it is qualitatively sourced from documentation and interviews. The information collected is analyzed quantitatively as well as qualitatively. Quantitative information is analyzed to explain students' success rates on multiplication operations. Qualitatively, information is analyzed to explain student learning activities as well as teacher teaching activities throughout the process. Based on research that has been carried out, it shows that the implementation of the STAD model combined with bead media can improve the learning outcomes of grade II students of SDK Waiara for the 2022/2023 academic year. The increase in learning outcomes during the research was the percentage of student completeness of 76.97% in cycle I increased to 94.11% in cycle II. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for teachers in organizing learning activities in the classroom, especially the implementation of interesting learning media and stimulating students to learn actively. In addition, the results of this study can be a reference for future research.
