Pengembangan Desain Pembelajaran Fisika Menggunakan Learning Management System Berbasis Moodle Berbantuan Grup Whatsapp

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology and the world conditions that are experiencing the Covid-19 pandemic have an impact on the continuity of education at all levels so that learning that was originally face-to-face becomes Distance Learning (PJJ). This study aims to determine student responses to the development of Physics learning designs using a Moodle-based LMS (Learning Management System) assisted by Whatsapp groups on the subject of Impulse, Momentum, and the Law of Conservation of Momentum in class X SMKN 2 Yogyakarta. Research and Development (R&D) research methods are used to determine the effectiveness of learning design products when applied in PJJ. The results showed that on average more than 70% of students gave good responses to aspects of software use, presentation content, and LMS appearance. It can also be shown an increase in student learning outcomes related to understanding concepts through the drilling method (repetition) in assessment activities or quiz. Improvement of the interface, maximizing the use of features in e-learning, creating/selecting interesting teaching materials/learning resources, arranging the sequence of materials consistently, providing opportunities for students to maximize efforts to improve learning outcomes, increasing teacher and student interactions as a form of social presence through Whatsapp groups, as well as the teacher's firm attitude in disciplining students are important factors in the success of PJJ.

Peneliti menyelesaikan sarjana fisika FMIPA UGM pada tahun 1997. Setelah lulus bekerja sebagai guru di SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta mulai tahun 1999 hingga sekarang. Bidang utama pembelajaran dan penelitian adalah fisika terapan untuk pendidikan menengah kejuruan. Selain mengajar dan meneliti pernah terlibat dalam manajemen sekolah sebagai Kepala Laboratorium, Ketua MGMP Fisika SMK Kota Yogyakarta, Koordinator PKG/PKB, staf Kurikulum, dan Kesiswaan. Kegiatan pengembangan diri  sering diikuti antara lain pelatihan, seminar, kegiatan kolektif guru, dan visitasi. Sejak tahun 2020 mengikuti studi lanjut jenjang S2 di Program Pasca Sarjana Pendidikan Fisika UAD.
