Problem Based Learning untuk Meningkatkan Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar Matematika
Abstract
The learning patterns of students during the pandemic must be carried out independently at home. Various problems faced are psychological conditions, lack of learning reference sources, decreased thinking ability, low awareness of independent learning, decreased learning activities and unsatisfactory learning achievement. This motivates teachers to make learning more creative and innovative in the classroom. The choice of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is intended to activate students and improve their learning outcomes. The formulation of the problem is how the process of implementing the PBL model, whether the use of the PBL model increases the activity and learning outcomes of students in SPLTV material in X APHP1 students of SMK N 1 Cangkringan. Meanwhile, the purpose of the research is to find out the process of implementing the PBL learning model in increasing students' activities and learning outcomes. The research method uses classroom action research. The data collection uses learning outcomes tests, notes when learning is carried out and student responses. The results obtained that the use of the PBL learning model increased the activities and learning outcomes of students as evidenced when studying the SPLTV material, students' learning activities increased in the first cycle from a score of 31 categories of "medium" learning activities to a score of 38 cycles II in the "high" category. While the completeness of student learning outcomes 27.78% with an average value of 57.78 in the first cycle increased to 77.78% with an average of 72.22 in the second cycle. The results of this study contribute to the use of one of the learning models of mathematics for teachers as an alternative to learning on SPLTV material.
