Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Audiovisual Berbasis Masalah Berbantuan Google Classroom untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa
Abstract
This study aims to produce problem-based audiovisual learning media assisted by Google Classroom that is valid, practical, and effective with rational and irrational inequalities material in order to improve critical thinking skills of students in class X MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 6 Yogyakarta in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. Data collection techniques in this study include tests, interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. The findings show that audiovisuals meet the requirements very well for material and media quality based on expert evaluations and assessments. In addition, the results of the small group and field test groups showed that the audiovisual scores and standards were high. Audiovisual usefulness was assessed at this time using a field test, which showed that there was a difference in students' critical thinking skills between the mean scores on the pretest and posttest after the use of audiovisuals. In addition, students' critical thinking skills grew by 55.25 percent with moderate criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that problem-based audiovisual aided by Google Classroom can improve students' ability to think critically.
