Teacher Competence Improvement in Developing a Class Action Research Proposal through Workshops and Assistance
The purpose of the research is to improve teacher competence in compiling CAR proposals through workshops and mentoring for teachers of SMAN 10 Yogyakarta for the 2020-2021 school year. Through this research, it can be seen the steps for implementing workshops and mentoring in the preparation of CAR proposals for teachers. The research method used is School Action Research. This study describes the causes and effects caused by the treatment, describes what happens when the treatment is given, and describes from the beginning of the treatment to the impact of the treatment. The main sources of this research are 5 teachers who are in group IVa. The results showed that: 1) through the workshop and mentoring the average value of the proposal product in cycle 1 was 88.34, the average value of the proposal product in cycle 2 was 81.80 and the average value of the proposal product in cycle 3 is 77.76. While the average value of cycle 1, 2 and 3 is 82.63. Based on the data above, it can be concluded that the average value from cycle 1 to 2 decreased by 6.54, while the value in cycle 2 to 3 decreased by 4.04. The average decline in value, from cycle 1, 2 and 3 was 5.29. 2) The research was carried out in 3 cycles, each cycle starting with a workshop and followed by assistance in the preparation of proposals. The workshops in each cycle are intended to provide material to participants related to the preparation of chapter 1, 2 and 3. Assistance to participants is carried out after the workshop. Through workshops and assistance in the preparation of this CAR proposal, the proposals for chapters 1 to 3 can be successfully realized.
