This research uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) research approach the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) design which involves several stages, such as data selection strategies, research criteria, and data extraction. The secondary data sources used were the Google Scholar and Garuda databases, to search for relevant literature between 2022 and 2024. The results of the research show that the PBL model has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes, critical thinking skills, interest in learning, and student learning activity. in economics subjects. However, further research is still needed, especially in measuring the influence of PBL on students' communication and creative thinking abilities, which are relevant 21st-century skills. Therefore, future researchers are advised to carry out PBL analysis with more comprehensive coverage, to obtain more accurate and appropriate results.
