Studi Literatur: Implementasi Digital Leadership (Kepemimpinan Digital) Kepala Sekolah pada Era Transformasi Digital di Jenjang SMP dan SMA

Abstract

The development of digital technology requires school principals to have adaptive leadership competencies in managing various school lines, including administration, communication, policy-making, and teacher competency development. This study was conducted to examine the application of digital leadership by school principals for the management of educational units at the junior high and senior high school levels through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Article searches were conducted through the Google Scholar database with the help of the Publish or Perish tool, using a number of keywords related to digital leadership in the school environment. Of the 100 articles identified in the initial search, screening was carried out based on inclusion and exclusion criteria until 12 suitable articles were obtained, then reviewed in more depth to select 3 articles that were most relevant to the focus of the study. The findings show that digital leadership practices are reflected through the use of technology in aspects of school administration, academic supervision, institutional communication and teacher competency development. The success of its implementation is also influenced by the principal's visionary, humanistic, and collaborative leadership style, accompanied by the active involvement of school residents in the policy-making process. This study concludes that digital leadership is a competency that combines technological and leadership skills in a balanced manner, thus contributing significantly to the effectiveness of school management in the era of digital transformation.
